The seminar will illuminate the science and the significance of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine awarded to Yoshinori Ohsumi, PhD, for his mechanistic studies of the autophagy process.

Pitt School of Medicine faculty members Charleen T. Chu, MD, PhD, professor of pathology, Donna Beer Stolz, PhD, associate professor of cell biology, and Marijn G.J.
