Description

Critical health professional shortages in resource-constrained countries amplify the need for effective management of routine health workforce and licensure information. An assessment of a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) was conducted in Ethiopia to examine the influence of the HRIS on human resources (HR) management and decision making. Data from the assessment reveal the HRIS users are optimistic, but the system is faced with challenges impacting adoption and use.
