The Provost’s Inaugural Lecture series invites University of Pittsburgh faculty members to give a lecture marking their recent appointments to endowed chairs and distinguished status. Dr. Watkins is Distinguished Professor of Cell Biology. His research focuses on using optical imaging to study cell biologic processes in the immune system.

A reception with light refreshments will follow the talk.
