Description
The attendee will be able to: 1. Appreciate the role of the nutrient-sensing transcription factor, ChREBP, in regulating fructose-induced metabolic programs. 2. Recognize that the metabolic hormone, FGF21, is acutely and robustly regulated by fructose ingestion in humans. 3. Appreciate that SNPs in a fructose-ChREBP-FGF21 pathyway regulate sugar-sweetened beverage phenotypes in humans.
