Description

Experienced faculty mentors will discuss strategies for
successfully competing for a Postdoctoral Fellowship Award (F32) through
the
NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) program.
This workshop will also include mock reviews of a successful and
unsuccessful
F32 grant application. The purpose of this postdoctoral fellowship award
is to provide support to promising postdoctoral applicants who have the
potential to become productive and successful independent research
investigators
and to help ensure that a diverse pool of highly trained scientists is
available to address the Nation's biomedical, behavioral, and clinical
research
needs. Please note that F32 awards are limited to US citizens and
permanent residents. Click here for
an overview of this postdoctoral grant mechanism.
