Description

Box is the University of Pittsburgh's designated product for storing files and folders in the cloud. In this class, you'll learn how to access your Box account, download files, sync your local Box folder to Box online, create and edit new documents in Box online, and share files and folders with colleagues.

This class is designed for people who have a regular Pitt account as a University student, faculty, or staff member. Those without a Pitt account will not be able to participate in class exercises.

Access to your Pitt account is through Pitt Passport, which requires multifactor authentication (MA) when logging in. If you have already set up MA, bring your mobile device with the Duo app installed to class. If you haven't set up MA, please do so before arriving at class and bring your mobile with Duo installed. For instructions, see http://technology.pitt.edu/node/2703 or call 412-624-HELP.
