Description

1. Understand the therapeutic importance of G protein-coupled receptors as drug targets across a spectrum of endocrine diseases.

2. Understand the concepts of pluridimensional efficacy, functional selectivity, and ligand "bias" as they related to G protein-couple receptor signaling.

3. Appreciate the opportunities, technological challenges, and potential risks associated with developing "baised" ligands targeting G protein-coupled receptors as therapeutics.
