Description

This presentation will describe our recent work examining the mechanisms of actions of glucocorticoid hormones in neural stem cells derived from embryonic cerebral cortex and hypothalamus. We will present studies of both genomic and nongenomic action of glucocorticoids in cultured neural stem cells and results of antenatal glucocorticoids on cerebral cortical development in mice.
