GRAND Announces Basic Research Video Contest

The AAMC is seeking video submissions from teams of faculty, trainees, and staff to highlight innovative basic biomedical research underway at medical schools and teaching hospitals nationwide, to raise the profile of promising, new research at our member institutions and to communicate to the public the human face of discovery. Teams are asked to create short (2-4 minute) videos about innovative basic biomedical science research projects taking place at their institution that highlights the promise of discovery—and their goals for advancing understanding of an urgent health concern. The winning submission will be awarded by GRAND at the AAMC Annual Meeting: Learn Serve Lead 2015 in Baltimore. The deadline for submissions is October 1, 2015.
