CME Information
The Center for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences will designate the Senior Vice Chancellor’s Research Seminar as a continuing medical education activity eligible for a maximum of one hour of Category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Nurses and other health professionals are awarded 0.1 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Target Audience
Faculty and students from the University of Pittsburgh’s Schools of the Health Sciences, and other schools, departments, and units across campus, and Carnegie Mellon University faculty and students from the Department of Biological Sciences.
In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

The University of Pittsburgh designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit[s]™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Other Healthcare Professionals:
Other health care professionals will receive a certificate of attendance confirming the number of contact hours commensurate with the extent of participation in this activity.
