The Fall 2025 Health Sciences Research Administration (HSRA) Recognition Award Ceremony took place on Monday, Oct. 13.
The HSRA Recognition Awards were created to acknowledge staff members whose job performance and dedication to their work merit special recognition.
All full-time and part-time Pitt and UPMC staff in good standing who support a health sciences school area or department were eligible to be nominated for an award. A committee comprising schools of the health sciences research administration staff and leadership reviewed each nominee and recommended winners to Anantha Shekhar, senior vice chancellor for the health sciences and John and Gertrude Petersen Dean of the School of Medicine.
Award recipients received a monetary prize and a Pitt branded item.
