Dear Faculty,
The Pitt Med family holds community and service as its core values. During these trying times, we remain steadfast in our commitment to the community. The MS-4 class has chosen to donate their Match Day funds to assist with key areas of need during this crisis. Joining forces, the other classes have also made considerable donations for a total of $11,000. We are reaching out to ask you to join the cause and match our students' generosity.
Our collective Pitt Med donation will help fight food insecurity, which has worsened with Covid-19, as well as help to fund Birmingham Clinic to provide medical care to the underserved in this time of need. Here is more information about these organizations:
