Between classes and activities, nobody has time to be stuck at home with the flu this fall.
The student health fee covers flu shots for students, who can get them through Student Health Services or the Pitt Vaccination and Health Connection Hub. The Hub also provides the shots to faculty members, staff and the public, including children 5 and older.
Fall flu shot clinics will be held at the William Pitt Union on Monday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., during the Fall 2025 Safety Symposium, and Thursday, Sept. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., during the Panther Wellness Fair.
The Hub will also hold three flu clinics at Salk Hall, 335 Sutherland Drive, Oct. 1-3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shots are available by appointment or on a walk-in basis.
The Hub will hold four events specifically for health sciences students, many of whom are required to have flu shots to be able to interact with patients. The health sciences nights will be Sept. 15, 18, 22 and 25, from 4-7 p.m. at the Hub, 4041 Fifth Avenue in Nordenberg Hall.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 8, the Hub will also have the flu shot available during its regular hours: Mondays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Flu shot clinics will be held at Pitt’s regional campuses:
Greensburg: Oct. 6, noon to 4 p.m., Hempfield Room in Chambers Hall
Johnstown: Oct. 15, noon to 2 p.m., Cambria Room
Bradford: Oct. 17, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mukaiyama University Room
